KDF:The Movie

“In 2010 we crisscrossed the USA interviewing drivers and covering grassroots drifting events. We wanted to know why people choose to drift, how they got into the sport, and why the love it. The answer is simple, its fun. In fact, its the most fun you can have with a car. Once you do it, you’re hooked and for children of the action sports era – its easy to understand being subjective and judged. In this short form documentary, we visit some of the most vibrant and passionate drifting communities in the US. We talk with up and coming amateur drivers and pro drifters about the sport and why Keep Drifting Fun is more than just a motto – it has changed their lives.”  -KDF

Such an amazing job from the KDF guys!

Save Drifting

“The Atlanta City Council has passed an ordinance prohibiting Drifting on private property located within 1000 feet of a residentially zoned district. THIS ELIMINATES DRIFTING AT TURNER FIELD. Our only hope is to convince the Mayor to VETO this amendment, and to convince the council to remove the ordinance after the VETO. Everyone please help save drifting in Atlanta! Do your part by signing the petition and join the Facebook group to keep up with what is going on.

Most of our crew decided to take a trip down to Jacksonville, FL this Sunday for The Auto Combine. It was honestly one of the best meets that I personally have been to in a very long time, if not THE best. The staff was friendly, the venue was sick, and it was a very well put together event. So without further ado, we present to you: The Auto Combine 2012.

We’ll start it off with one of our own; Rion Morse’s ballin’ bagged e30. I’m sure you’ve seen this around lately.

We had our eyes on this nasty DB8 rocking some CCdubs all day. So Clean!

The paint on this thing was crazy! This shot definitely not do this justice!

Chillin’ in the SouthrnFresh booth was this slammed Miata on CCWs. This is one of the cleanest Miatas I have ever laid my eyes on. If you haven’t already, be sure to check it out in “TheTwins” feature!

Here is a really dope newer generation accord. I’m sure you will start to see a lot more of these being modified as they get older.

Lovely IS300.

Here is a very different mk2. I’ve been told its not your ordinary bagged Jetta. I like it.

There wasn’t many 240s in attendance, however, the ones that were there, were awesome. The coupe had a pink cage to match the wheels and the hatch were on some deep BBS RS’s and was right hand drive. Gangsta.

The Brotiform guys always have some of the lowest cars, if thats what you’re into.

If I had a dime for every time Corbin told me he liked the stance on this Integra, I’d probably have a dollar or so.

Team V2 Labs were there in full force. And looking sick as always!

This RSX was getting a lot of attention towards the end of the day. He found a very photogenic spot to park.

A few JDM front Integras were in attendance.

This VIP style’d Lexus was catching eyes all day. The Wheels are perfect for this car. Not too aggressive, but still very stylish.

I fell in love with this purple RSX, it was in the corner of the building most of the day, but the owner decided to bring it outside and Rion got a great shot of it!

This very aggressive Miata was getting a lot of attention all day. It may be a little much for some people, but its clean nonetheless!

Here is a little less aggressive Miata, still hella clean!

S2KxBBS=Great combination.

Once again, thanks to Rion and Corbin for sharing their amazing photos with us and I hope you all enjoyed our coverage of The Auto Combine!

This past weekend most of the crew headed down to Green Cove Springs, FL for The Auto Combine. It was a great event! The weather was perfect, the staff was awesome, and the cars were top notch. You couldn’t have asked for a better day! I am gonna skip right ahead and tell you about two cars we had the pleasure of shooting towards the end of the day since our full event coverage will be released later.

Ethan Watson and Rion Morse have been  killing it lately with thier video/photo work for us. They did it again this weekend by putting together this awesome shoot of Dustin Clement’s S2000 and Anthony Malesa’s Mazda MX5 Miata!

There is no question that Dustin has one of the cleanest S2K’s in the game. I talked to Dustin as the video was being shot and he said there is still a little more to do, although you would never know by the looks of it. Dustin said they finished paint on Friday and were up until 5:30 AM Sunday morning getting it buffed and put all back together. To me it’s those late nights trying to get everything done just before the event that makes a car, more than just a car.

Next is Anthony Malesa’s MX5 Miata. Nicest Miata I have ever seen, period. Anthony told me about when he first got his Miata and it was in stock form he caught hell for it, let’s just say people didn’t see it as a “normal guys” car. No doubt in my mind that he has more love than hate over this thing now. The coolest thing to me is that this isn’t Anthony’s weekend warrior.. “I do daily this thing at the height that it is. School, work, etc.
My frame and bracing does eat road reflectors all the time.
Idk if you had the chance to look under the car, it sits alot lower than what the body shows. Hence the fact you can’t see anything under it but black hehe.”

Kid Cudi: “Maniac”

I remeber hearing about this short film back in June that Shia LaBeouf would be directing for Kid Cudi. It was going to be called “Maniac” inspired by the song Maniac off the album Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager. Well it was released yesterday to close out the Halloween festivities and it is pretty chilling. I can honestly say, Cudi has a mind of his own.
